Some quick news for all of you robo-junkies out there: Netflix and Skydance are producing an animated series based on the Terminator science fiction film franchise, and Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) has been tapped to provide the animation production.
The most terrifying killing machine in sci-fi history is back, just like it promised. Project Power’s Mattson Tomlin and legendary anime studio Production I.G are teaming up for an animated series set in the Terminator universe.

Aside from Mattson Tomlin (Project Power, The Batman) serving as showrunner and executive producer, no further details about the production (such as the cast, the crew, the release window, or the plot synopsis) have yet been revealed.
