The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie finally hit theaters on August 2nd. But if you want to refresh yourself on the crime-fighting turtles (or give your kids a history lesson), you may be inclined to watch the original TMNT series. Thankfully, it’s free to stream on Pluto TV.

A new “Totally Turtles” channel on Pluto TV is dedicated exclusively to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It streams an endless supply of the original series, with some occasional advertising breaks. Note that you can stream Pluto TV on any device, including your smart TV, phone, tablet, or computer.

But Pluto TV doesn’t offer these TMNT episodes on demand. You must watch the live TV channel, which runs a playlist of pre-selected episodes. The good news is that Pluto TV’s channel guide shows upcoming episodes, so if you happen to remember any of your favorites, you shouldn’t have too much trouble figuring out when they air.

However, Pluto TV does stream an on-demand version of the 3D-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie. It also hosts a behind-the-scenes mini documentary for Mutant Mayhem. (These are the only on-demand TMNT properties listed by Pluto TV. Everything else is stuck in the live TV channel.)

Note that Pluto TV is owned by Paramount, which also happens to own TMNT. If you or your kids are absolutely turtle-obsessed, you may want to spring for a Paramount+ subscription, which unlocks most of the TMNT television shows and movies.

In case you missed it, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie is now in theaters. Its art style is similar to Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and it was directed by Jeff Rowe and Kyle Spears. Notably, this new movie has an all-star cast with appearances from Rose Byrne, Seth Rogan, Jackie Chan, Paul Rudd, and Giancarlo Esposito, among others.
