#Pooh Shiesty Ordered to Be Held Without Bond in Federal Case

A Miami federal judge has ordered that Pooh Shiesty will be held without bond in a federal detention center as he awaits trial on robbery and firearms charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida announced. The charges stem from an October 2020 altercation in which the rapper and two associates allegedly shot and robbed two individuals from whom they were purchasing marijuana and high-end sneakers.

Pooh Shiesty was recently indicted on the federal charges of conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence, conspiring to commit a Hobbs Act robbery, committing a Hobbs Act robbery, and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

In June, Pooh Shiesty was arrested on an aggravated battery charge following an alleged altercation outside a Miami strip club in which a security guard was shot. At the time, he was out on bond from the October 2020 incident.

Pitchfork has reached out to representatives and attorneys for Pooh Shiesty for comment and more information.
