After footage emerged of Polo G getting pulled into the crowd at a show in Indiana, the rapper took to social media to clarify no jewelry of his was ever stolen, despite rumors saying his chain had been snatched. Apparently, the Fort Wayne crowd just knew how to party.

“Don’t start no dumb ass rumors like nobody tried to take sum from me dead man’s one of y’all ass woulda gat exactly what y’all was looking fa,” the rapper wrote in a since deleted tweet. “The crowd just gat too excited and knocked me down that’s all lol I mean I love Fort Wayne fa turning up w me but that’s like one of the last places imma let a mf play w me.”

This isn’t the first time Polo G has had to quell online rumors about him. The Chicago lyricist recently had to rebuke a claim made by RapTV on Twitter that said he enjoyed Sketchers more than Air Jordans.

“I ain’t lie I don’t remember sayin this shit,” Polo G wrote on Twitter.

Polo G has been riding high off the success of his Hall of Fame 2.0 tape, giving his Lil Baby-assisted single “Don’t Play” the visual treatment in February. Polo G also recently lent his talents to Coi Leray, who confirmed on Twitter she had secured a Polo G feature for her forthcoming debut album.

“POLOOOOO G VOCALS BEEN APPROVED MYYYYY DAYYYYYYY HAS BEEEEEN MADEEEEEEE,” Leray tweeted on Saturday (March 26). “THIS SONG ISSSSS EPICCCCC.”
