The sticky substance was seen oozing from the back of a dark pickup as the driver of the vehicle rolled slowly over the full length of the bright yellow sign early Sunday morning, according to the footage.
It’s unclear how many occupants were inside the truck.
The video, which included a pro-Trump rap song, was shot by somebody on the street.
It’s unclear if the person who captured the footage is connected to the alleged vandal or vandals.
The mural outside President Trump’s iconic home on Fifth Avenue has repeatedly been vandalized since it was commissioned by Mayor Bill de Blasio and then painted on July 9.
Police said Tuesday no arrests have been made in connection to the latest act of vandalism.
