#Pennsylvania highway crash kills two amid snow storm

A crash involving dozens of cars on a Pennsylvania highway killed two people Wednesday amid a snowstorm, authorities said.

The crash occurred on the westbound lanes on Interstate 80 in Clinton County, closing the road for several hours, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Initial reports said at least 30 to 60 cars were involved in a multi-vehicle crash.

Authorities didn’t say whether the crash was weather-related, but they urged the public to “stay home and do not travel unless it is absolutely necessary.”

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning late Wednesday saying northern Pennsylvania is expected to receive heavy snow with accumulations of 10 to 24 inches.
