Hiori Hirahara and Ruka Hanari, transformed into their "Reflector" magical girl battle forms, charge up their emotions into an energy blast focused through their broadswords in a scene from the upcoming BLUE REFLECTOR RAY / Mio TV anime.

A dramatic pair of preview videos have been published for BLUE REFLECTION RAY / Mio, an upcoming TV anime based on the 2017 Blue Reflection JRPG developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo about magical girls called “Reflectors” who fight using the power of their emotions.

The “Blue” PV (above) focuses on magical girl action and features the opening theme, entitled “DiViNE”, which is performed by EXiNA. The “Rouge” PV (below) focuses on dramatic character moments and features the ending theme, entitled “Seishin” (“Deepest”), which is performed by ACCAMER.

Set in a world where feelings such as joy, sadness, and anger have an unseen influence on reality, BLUE REFLECTION RAY / Mio follows the fateful meeting of Hiori Hirahara, an outgoing girl who always reaches out to people in need, and Ruka Hanari, a socially awkward girl who doesn’t know how to get along well with other people. Will their feelings change themselves and the world around them?
