#Family of tech CEO Fahim Saleh calls murder ‘nothing short of evil’

The family of murdered tech CEO Fahim Saleh called his vicious death “nothing short of evil” as they remembered him as “brilliant and innovative.”

“No words or actions to provide any of us comfort except the capture of the person who exhibited nothing short of evil upon our loved one,” said the family’s statement, obtained by the Daily Beast.

“We need and urge the NYPD and other members of law enforcement to work diligently to get to the bottom of this horrific crime and bring justice for Fahim.”

Saleh, 33, was found decapitated and dismembered inside his $2.2 million, seventh-floor apartment on East Houston Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources believe his killer may have been scared off by a concerned cousin who buzzed Saleh’s apartment. The butcher allegedly fled down the service stairs as the cousin was riding up in an elevator — soon making the grisly discovery.

“The headlines talk about a crime we still cannot fathom,” the family said.

Saleh was a successful entrepreneur in the tech and transportation industries, serving as CEO of Nigeria-based ridesharing company Gokada.

“Fahim is more than what you are reading. He is so much more,” the family added. “His brilliant and innovative mind took everyone who was a part of his world on a journey and he made sure never to leave anyone behind.”
