“Happy 25th birthday to the best one!” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback posted to Instagram, adding the adorable hashtag, “MyBabe.”
In one photo shared by Mahomes, 24, the quarterback is seen sitting on a gym bench with personal trainer Matthews, while the other shot shows the couple getting cozy on a boat.
Matthews and Mahomes have been dating for eight years and celebrated their anniversary in March, the same month the couple gave fans a glimpse of their quarantine life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the summer, Matthews documented her boat adventures with this year’s Super Bowl MVP, leading up to Mahomes’ monstrous contract signing in July.
