#Passengers survive car being smashed between trucks: video

Two passengers in a compact car somehow survived being crushed between two oversized trucks in southern China in an accident caught on video.

The unidentified motorists on Monday pulled up behind a cement mixer and left a sizable distance between the vehicles while waiting for a traffic light to change in China’s Fujian Province, according to the footage.

But the apparent precaution was scuttled when a large green truck rear-ended the tiny white car and pushed it into the back of the cement mixer, instantly crumpling the vehicle like an accordion, video shows.

The passengers — who were initially trapped in the front seat — were later pulled out of the car and rushed to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, the South China Morning Post reports.
