The upcoming fourth season of Overlord received its third anime trailer ahead of its release date confirmed for July 5. The also featured the opening theme song “HOLLOW HUNGER” performed by musical duo OxT. 

A special commemorative visual and website was launched in celebration of the light novel’s 10th anniversary. The series is written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin.

Many cast members from previous seasons of Overlord are reprising their roles, including Satoshi Hino as Ainz, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear, Emiri Katou as Aura, Yumi Uchiyama as Mare, Masayuki Katou as Demiurge, and Kenta Miyake as Cocytus.

The animation production staff consists of Naoyuki Itou (Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge) as director for the fourth season, Yukie Sugawara (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) as script writer, and Satoshi Tasaki (No Game, No Life Zero) as character designer. So-bin is credited as the original character designer. The animation production will once again be handled by MADHOUSE.
