Warner Bros. Japan revealed a new key visual for TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You Season 2. In addition, Neko Hacker will be the opening artist with vocals by Akari Kito, the voice of Tsukasa Yuzaki. Pea will be the ending artist with vocals also by Akari Kito. The songs will be released on April 7 digitally. The anime is currently scheduled for April 2023. 

Additional details will be revealed at AnimeJapan 2023 on March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM JST at the Green Stage. Akari Kitou and Junya Enoki, who voice Tsukasa Yuzaki and Nasa Yuzaki respectively, will be in attendance. 

The returning production staff from the first season includes Hiroshi Ikehata as director, Kazuho Hyoudou as series screenwriter, Masakatsu Sasaki as character designer, and Endou as music composer. Seven Arcs is once again handling the animation production for the series. 

Besides Kitou and Enoki, the returning voice cast includes Yuu Serizawa as Kaname Arisugawa, Sumire Uesaka as Aya Arisugawa, and Konomi Kohara as Chitose Kaginoji.

TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You is based on the manga of the same name by Hayate the Combat Butler creator Kenjirou Hata. The manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday on February 14, 2018 and has released 22 tankoubon volumes as of December 2022. 

The first season aired from October 3, 2020 to December 19, 2020, with Crunchyroll streaming it worldwide, outside of Japan. Two OVA specials were released on August 18, 2021 and November 22, 2022 respectively.
