Peloton Interactive Inc. has removed a viral ad featuring “Sex and the City” actor Chris Noth after sexual-assault accusations against him were published online.

“Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously,” said a Peloton

spokeswoman Thursday. “We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO’s reboot. As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts.”

An article published earlier Thursday in the Hollywood Reporter quoted two women anonymously who accused Mr. Noth of sexual assault.

A representative for Mr. Noth didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. HBO Max, which is streaming “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That…,” declined to comment.
