One shooting was reported in the Big Apple on Thursday — a break from the uptick in gunplay the city has seen in recent weeks, according to cops.

A 41-year-old man was shot in the forearm on Vernon Avenue near Lewis Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant by another man around 12:20 p.m., police said.

He was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries — and the gunman fled on foot.

On that day last year — two people were shot in the city, one of them fatally.

Cops initially tallied a 57-year-old man among Thursday’s shooting victims, because he walked into Harlem Hospital around 1:30 a.m. that day.

But it turns out he was blasted once in the right leg by a drive-by shooter around 11 p.m. Wednesday at West 129th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, cops said.

That brings the total number of shootings Wednesday to four.

Friday morning, an 18-year-old man was shot in the stomach at North Elliott Place and Park Avenue, near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, around 1:10 a.m. Cops describe him as “highly uncooperative.”

The NYPD has recorded a roughly 70-percent spike in gunplay across the city this year.
