#One killed, five injured as gunplay rages across New York City

Five people were shot — one fatally — in three separate incidents across Gotham Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

Most recently, Marvin Carroway, 34, was blasted in the head in the lobby of his own building, on the grounds of NYCHA’s Hughes Houses on Sutter Avenue near Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville just after midnight, cops said.

A resident found his body and called 911, police said.

He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, 16-year-old Amir Patterson was fatally shot on Kingsborough Third Walk near Michael Griffith Street — on the grounds of NYCHA’s Kingsborough Houses, according to police.

He was taken to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Three shell casings were recovered at the scene, according to police sources.

And just before 9 p.m., two men — 18 and 19 — were critically hurt in a drive-by shooting on Findlay Avenue near East 167th Street in Morrisania following a dispute, according to cops and police sources.

The younger victim was shot in the chest and neck, and the older man in the jaw, according to police. EMS transported both to Lincoln Medical Center.

A 20-year-old man was also shot once in the right hand and taken to the same hospital by private means.

The suspect drove off in a grey van after the shooting, police sources said.

On Tuesday’s date last year, three people were shot in as many incidents, cops said.
