The BanG Dream! Film Live anime movie is slated to release in Malaysia via TGV Cinemas on 20 August. The trailer below offers a preview of their performances:
BanG Dream! Film Live is the first movie in the BanG Dream! multimedia franchise. The premise involves the girl bands Poppin’ Party, Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Roselia and Hello, Happy World coming together to perform a combined concert.
The movie originally released in September 2019 in Japan. A sequel movie, titled BanG Dream! Film Live 2nd Stage, was announced in March this year.
Three more BanG Dream! movies were announced in April this year, while a mini-series featuring chibi versions of characters from the BanG Dream! franchise debuted on the official BanG Dream! YouTube channel on 7 May. An alternate universe spin-off called ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!, which centers on a male band, was released during the Spring 2020 anime season.
