“NYC woman stabbed to death inside Bronx apartment, cops say”
A 56-year-old woman was stabbed to death inside a Bronx apartment early Friday, cops said.
The woman was discovered with a stab wound to her lower torso just after 3:30 a.m. in the doorway of an apartment on Olmstead Avenue near Lacombe Avenue on the grounds of NYCHA’s Castle Hill Houses, authorities said.
She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The circumstances of the deadly assault were not immediately clear.
No arrests were immediately been made, and no weapons were recovered, cops said.
The woman’s name has not been released pending family notification.
