#NYC subway platform video shows man sucker punching woman

Newly released video shows a man who sucker punched a woman in an unprovoked attack on the 7-train’s Grand Central subway platform last Thursday.

The NYPD is asking for help identifying the suspect, who is seen in the video running up behind the 60-year-old woman, who was unaware she was about to be clocked in the back of the head.

The footage, released Tuesday, shows the man changing his path toward his target. He winds up and swings with a closed fist.

After the attack, which is not shown on the footage, the man ran off and boarded a northbound No. 5 train, cops said.

The victim was transported to Mt. Sinai for treatment, police said.
