City Council members are getting phone calls, text messages and even visits at their homes from activists who want them to defund the NYPD, The Post has learned.

Some officials have complained to cops that their privacy was invaded when their personal information was posted online, according to a council member who spoke on condition of anonymity.

“It appears that council members are getting doxxed. Advocates have posted members’ phone numbers as well as home addresses,” the source said Tuesday.

“Members are getting phone calls, text messages, and threats of people showing up at their homes. Members have reported to the police.”

Councilwoman Vanessa Gibson (D-The Bronx) told The Post that she got threatening calls on her personal phone from activists who demanded she vote “no” on the budget that’s due Tuesday.

“Disgusting and completely disrespectful! I have erased and blocked people,” she said.

“This is unbelievable and crosses the line.”

Councilman Robert Holden (D-Queens) also said he got two calls at 2 a.m. from unknown callers.

Councilman Rafael Salamanca (D-The Bronx) said activists showed up at his home on Sunday night, but declined to elaborate.

Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer (D-Queens) tweeted Tuesday morning that a letter and a sign saying “BLACK LIVES MATTER” were taped to the door of his home overnight.

“Now I know some electeds REALLY don’t like home visits, but I appreciate the passion here & the righteous fight. I see you. I hear you! I agree with you!” he wrote.

Phone numbers for several council members were posted on Twitter by Aaron Narraph Ferrando, a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

“Call like crazy if you haven’t been able to reach them yet,” he wrote.

Ferrando didn’t immediately return an email seeking comment.
