The statewide COVID-19 positivity rate, when measured on a seven-day average, stood at 0.36 percent Friday. Of the 97,020 test results that came back Friday, 385 or 0.40 percent were positive, the governor said.

Five people died of the virus including a Brooklyn resident and a Queens resident.

Cuomo said 71.6 percent of state residents 18 and older have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 64.1 percent have complete the regimen.
