Big Weeks

Derek Carr QB, Raiders, at Falcons (FanDuel $7,100/DraftKings $5,700)

He’s owned in just less than half of leagues and also is relatively cheap on DFS sites. And he is facing the league’s worst pass defense vs. fantasy QBs.

Carson Wentz QB, Eagles, vs. Seahawks (FD $7,600/DK $5,600)

Yeah, we don’t like it any more than you do. Wentz, who hasn’t topped the meager total of 15 fantasy points in three games, has been atrocious. But as bad as he has been, the Seattle pass defense has been worse.

Sterling Shepard WR, Giants, at Bengals (FD $5,400/DK $5,100)

We’ve stated recently we think the Giants are on the rise. This is a chance to show it. Shepard has a history of being a red-zone target, even if that hasn’t held this season.

Jamison Crowder WR, Jets, vs. Dolphins (FD $6,300/DK $5,400)

He got 10-plus targets in his first four games. Had just five in his past two, but we don’t think that will hold. Look for a rebound.

Small weaks

Aaron Rodgers QB, Packers, vs. Bears (FD $8,600/DK $6,700)

The Bears are the fourth toughest defense vs. fantasy QBs. Has averaged just 236 passing yards in his past three vs. Chicago, with two total pass TDs and one INT.

Gus Edwards RB, Ravens, at Steelers (not available in DFS)

If, if, if this game is played this week, without RBs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram or QB Lamar Jackson, some have homed in on Edwards. But against the best fantasy D vs. RBs, we want nothing to do with the Ravens offense.

Gio Bernard RB, Bengals, vs. Giants (FD $6,100/DK $5,700)

Dealing with a concussion, hasn’t produced (averaging 3.06 per carry since Week 6), Samaje Perine is cutting into workload, and Cincy is facing a D that has allowed just one team to top 100 rushing yards in the past five games.

Dallas Goedert TE, Eagles, vs. Seahawks (FD $6,200/DK $4,200)

Zach Ertz could return, and Richard Rodgers might not completely disappear. As bad as the Seahawks’ pass defense is, tight ends have found little success.
