#Newsmax anchor leaves interview with My Pillow’s Mike Lindell

A Newsmax anchor walked off live TV Tuesday night during a trainwreck interview with My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell — who continued spewing unfounded claims of voter fraud in the presidential election.

Lindell was supposed to be discussing his recent suspensions from Twitter with the conservative news station — but the interview quickly descended into a shouting match.

“Mine was taken down because we have all the election fraud with these Dominion machines, we have 100 percent proof,” Lindell began.

That’s when anchor Bob Sellers cut in, “Mike, thank you very much. You’re talking about machines that we at Newsmax have not been able to verify any of those kinds of allegations.”

As Lindell droned on in the background, Sellers continued over him, “We just want to let people know that there’s nothing substantive that we’ve seen.”

Sellers then read from a written statement as Lindell continued to try to talk over him.

“Let me read you something,” he said on air. “While there were some clear evidence of some cases of voter fraud and election irregularities, the election results in every state were certified, and Newsmax accepts the results as legal and final. The courts have also supported that view.”

The staunch ally of former President Donald Trump again tried to butt in, but Sellers shot him down, saying, “We don’t want to relitigate the allegations that you’re making, Mike,” as his co-host Heather Childers tried to bring the interview under control.

Sellers nearly steered Lindell back on track, asking him, “Could you make an argument that this could be a temporary banning rather than permanent?”

Lindell replied, “No, I want it to be a permanent because you know what? They did this because I’m revealing all the evidence on Friday of all the election fraud of these machines — ”

A clearly fed-up Sellers interrupted, “Can I ask our producers — can we get out of here, please?” before abruptly walking off.

Newsmax previously backtracked from its own reporting of election fraud involving Dominion and Smartmatic voting machines after both companies threatened legal action in December, Axios reported.

That prompted Newsmax host John Tabacco to issue an on-air statement saying, “Since Election Day, various guests, attorneys and elected officials have appeared on Newsmax and offered opinions and claims about Smartmatic and Dominion Systems. … Newsmax would like to clarify its news coverage and note that it has not reported as ‘true’ certain claims made about these companies.”

Twitter permanently booted Lindell from its platform last month for spreading baseless claims about widespread election fraud — then suspended My Pillow’s corporate account after Lindell used it to continue ranting.
