#New Serial Experiments Lain Merch Invites You to Hang Out in Cyberia

If you’re a fan of Serial Experiments Lain, a classic cyberpunk TV anime from 1998, then soon you’ll have the opportunity to own a little piece of the Wired, because messa store is creating made-to-order LED replicas of the Cyberia Cafe & Club neon sign as well as T-shirts featuring the Cyberia logo.

The Cyberia LED Neon Sign replicas retail for 90900 yen (about $795.21 US) including tax, while the Cyberia Neon T-shirts retail for 5720 yen (about $50.04 US) including tax. Pre-orders for both are currently open until February 06, 2022, with the final products scheduled to begin shipping in March of 2022.

Serial Experiments Lain is directed by Ryutaro Nakamura and features animation production by Triangle Staff. Funimation distributes the series in the United States, and describes Serial Experiments Lain as follows:

Acclaimed artist Yoshitoshi ABe (Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze) brings to life the existential classic that paved the way for blockbuster films such as The Matrix.  Follow along as fourteen year old Lain—driven by the abrupt suicide of a classmate—logs on to the Wired and promptly looses herself in a twisted mass of hallucinations, memories, and interconnected-psyches.
