A new RWBY project has been announced titled Team RWBY Project. A key visual was released alongside the official website in Japanese.
The official RWBY Japan Twitter account hinted at the announcement earlier today and tweeted the key visual artistically looks “new” compared than the previous RWBY animation by Rooster Teeth. However, details remain vague on what Team RWBY Project will be.
RWBY is an animation series produced by Rooster Teeth and originally created by Monty Oum. The animated show has eight season (labeled as volumes) with the ninth one scheduled for 2022.
Rooster Teeth describes the series as:
The future-fantasy world of Remnant is filled with ravenous monsters, treacherous terrain, and more villains than you can shake a sniper-scythe at. Fortunately, Beacon Academy is training Huntsmen and Huntresses to battle the evils of the world, and Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang are ready for their first day of class.
