#New Heroes Arise in Japanese Dubbed Trailer for Marvel’s What If…? TV Animation

An all-star voice cast and the Japanese dubbed trailer have been revealed for What If…?, an upcoming 3DCG animation series from Marvel Studios that explores alternate timelines where history is very different for various superheroes and villains. The voice cast includes:

  • Toshiyuki Morikawa as Iron Man / Tony Stark.
  • Kenta Miyake as Thor.
  • Atsushi Miyauchi as Hulk / Bruce Banner.
  • Akari Higuchi as Black Widow / Natasha Romanoff.
  • Hiroki Tōchi as Hawkeye / Clint Barton.
  • Fumihiko Tachiki as Nick Fury.
  • Junya Enoki as Spider-Man / Peter Parker.
  • Mitsuru Shiraishi as Winter Soldier / Bucky Barnes.
  • Daisuke Hirakawa as Loki.
  • Hidenobu Kiuchi as Antman / Scott Lang.
  • Kouki Mitomo as Hank Pym.
  • Satoshi Mikami as Dr. Strange / Stephen Strange.
  • Nana Mizuki as Captain Marvel / Carol Danvers.

The story of What If…? is described as follows:

 

“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways.

 

The Japanese promotional poster for What If...?, a 3DCG TV animation from Marvel Studios. The poster features alternate reinterpretations of various famous Marvel super heroes and villains, such as Peggy Carter as Captain America and T'Challa as Star Lord.

 

What If…? is directed by Bryan Andrews and features animation production by Marvel Studios. The series will be published in the United States, Japan, and other world markets on the Disney+ streaming service beginning on August 11, 2021.
