Last week YouTube TV and NBCUniversal confirmed a “short-term” extension to keep 14+ popular channels on the popular live TV service. Then, this weekend, the two announced a finalized deal. As a result, you’ll no longer have to worry about losing access to several NBC channels and regional sports networks, as they’ll all remain on YouTube TV moving forward.

The two companies had a very public spat over contract negotiations, ones which sounded quite tense. On September 30th, the contract ended, and users were about to lose all NBC Universal channels on the service. Additionally, YouTube TV was prepared to lower everyone’s bill by $10 per month. However, that crisis has been averted, and here’s what YouTube had to say over on Twitter.

Following a week of tense negotiations, the two agreed to a deal. It sounds like NBC wanted to include its Peakcock streaming service into YouTube TV, but that never happened.

We’re glad to see the two worked out a deal just days before a slew of channels got dropped. Here’s a complete list of every NBCU channel you’ll still be able to access on YouTube TV, depending on the region:

  • Local NBC Station
  • Bravo
  • CNBC
  • USA
  • E!
  • Oxygen
  • Cozi
  • CNBC World
  • The Olympic Channel
  • The Golf Channel
  • NBC News Now
  • Syfy
  • Universal Kids
  • MSNBC
  • Universo
  • NBC 4K content
  • NBCLX
  • NECN
  • Telemundo

In addition to the popular main channels above, NBC Universal has a wide assortment of regional sports under the NBC Sports line. These show Sunday Night Football, college football, NHL, and several others, making YouTube TV excellent for streaming live sports.

  • NBC Sports Net
  • NBC Sports Bay Area
  • NBC Sports Bay Area Plus
  • NBC Sports Boston
  • NBC Sports California
  • NBC Sports California Plus
  • NBC Sports Chicago
  • NBC Sports Chicago Plus
  • NBC Sports Chicago Plus 2
  • NBC Sports Northwest
  • NBC Sports Philadelphia
  • NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus
  • NBC Sports Washington
  • NBC Sports Washington Plus
  • SNYHD

In the end, we’re glad the two could come to a deal, become friends, and let customers continue to enjoy what they originally paid for. We don’t know the terms or length of this new deal, and we’re hopeful this won’t be an issue in the future.
