The sixth season of My Hero Academia has received its fifth trailer and new visual for the upcoming “Dark Hero Arc,” which begins on February 11. The arc sees Deku leaving U.A. High School as society feels the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War.

It was revealed last month that Atsumi Tanezaki is joining the cast as Lady Nagant.

My Hero Academia Season 6 premiered on October 1 last year, with the second cour beginning in January. The first season began in 2016.

My Hero Academia is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s manga series, which began serialization in 2014 and has 37 tankoubon volumes as of February 2023. The Shueisha-published manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and published under the Jump Comics label.

Reprising their Season 5 staff roles are Kenji Nagasaki as chief director, Masahiro Mukai as director, Studio Orphee’s Yousuke Kuroda as series composer and scriptwriter, Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima as character designers, Atelier Musa’s Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama as art directors, Wish’s Kazuko Kikuchi as color designer, Sawa Takafumi as photography director, and Yuuki Hayashi as music composer. Bones is again the animation production studio.
