“My Hero Academia Season 6 Airs For Two Consecutive Cours, Unveils New Trailer”

The production team for the sixth season of My Hero Academia has confirmed that the series will air for two consecutive cours. Two cours will usually make up around 24 or 25 episodes in total. The latest season will air on October 1, 2022. 

In addition, a new 30-second PV trailer of the series has also been released, spotlighting key moments from the sixth season. 

The production staff for My Hero Academia season six includes Kenji Nagasaki as chief director, Masahiro Mukai as director, Studio Orphee’s Yousuke Kuroda as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima as character designers, Atelier Musa’s Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama as art directors, Wish’s Kazuko Kikuchi as color designer, Sawa Takafumi as photography director, and Yuuki Hayashi as music composer. Bones is in charge of the animation production once again. 

My Hero Academia is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s manga series that was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 7, 2014. 35 tankoubon volumes have been released as of July 2022. The series is published under the Jump Comics label, with a 36th volume set for release on October 4, 2022.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime’s sixth season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and CIS. It describes the sixth season as: 

With Bakugo and Todoroki, Deku is doing his work study at the office of the number one hero, Endeavor. Working hard in the best possible environment, he is growing as a hero and using Blackwhip, a new Quirk that was hiding in One For All. Meanwhile, Tomura Shigaraki from the League of Villains clashes against the Metahuman Liberation Army led by Re-Destro.

While he’s being driven into a corner fighting Re-Destro, he recovers forgotten memories of his terrible childhood and is awakened. He seizes the Metahuman Liberation Army, expands its influence, and now desires a new power for himself to destroy everything.
