Takeru and Sumika reach out to each other in the newest visual for the upcoming second season of the Muv-Luv Alternative TV anime, which was released today alongside a new mecha-filled trailer as well as the premiere date of October 5.

Muv-Luv Alternative is directed by Yukio Nishimoto and features animation production by FLAGSHIP LINE and Yumeta Company x Graphinica. The second season is scheduled to begin on October 5 at 24:55 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra anime block (effectively, 12:55 AM on October 6). Crunchyroll is streaming the first season and will be continuing to release the show, describing it as such:
