Houston rapper Monaleo has shared a new song called “Miss U Already.” The track features Mobile, Alabama singer and emcee NoCap and arrives alongside a live performance video directed by John Tashiro.

“Miss U Already” is a lane change for Monaleo, whose general fare is no-holds-barred Texas trap. Here, she sings a soulful tribute to lost loved ones, swathed in delicate keys and a gospel choir. “I just got a call that my dog got shot / No matter who I meet, they’ll never take your spot / Forever on my mind forever in my heart,” she sings early on.
