Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! announced for Switch “

Konami has announced Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! for Switch. It will launch in 2023 in Japan.

Here is an overview of the game, via Konami:

Momotaro Dentetsu is a board game series that began in 1998 and will celebrate its 35th anniversary this year. Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!, which launched in 2020 under the general direction of series creator Akira Sakuma, was a big hit that sold over 3.5 million copies. Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru!, which is directed and designed by Shoji Masuda, and executive produced by Akira Sakuma, is a new take on the Momtaro Dentesu experience.

Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! marks the first time in the series that the game can be played on a spherical map of Earth. Rather than a flat surface like previous games, the world map appears as a globe, allowing players to enjoy the game with a three-dimensional sense of the location and distance between countries and regions.

Of course, elements unique to Momotaro Dentetsu, such as properties and characters from all over the world, will appear with a world-class increase in volume. New events set across the world and numerous historical heroes await all over the Earth.
