Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will premiere in Japan in October, the Gundam.info website has revealed.

The new Mobile Suit Gundam anime will be broadcast via the Nichigo timeslot, which was last used in 2016 to broadcast the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Nichigo first emerged in 2008, with Code Geass being the first anime to use the slot. The slot has also been used for shows like My Hero Academia and Blue Exorcist. A special trailer was released to commemorate the time slot’s revival.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury was announced in late 2021 with Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island and a special edition of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Oricon reported that the show is meant to secure young fans from all around the world.
