The official website for the Detective Conan anime feature film series is updated with a new visual for its forthcoming 24th film Meitantei Conan: Hiiro no Dangan / Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet featuring the protagonist Conan Edogawa and the four members of the Akai family who hold the key of the film’s main story. The family consists of Shuichi Akai, an FBI agent and sniper; Masumi Sera, a high school girl detective; Shukichi Haneda, a professional shogi player who has won seven championships; and Mary Sera, a girl who calls herself the “sister outside the realm” and is really the mother of the family.

In addition, the film’s latest trailer, which has been attached to the special compilation film Meitantei Conan: Hiiro no Fuzai Shoumei / Detective Conan: The Scarlet Alibi will be posted on YouTube at 21:00 (JST) / 04:00 (PT) on March 4.

The film focusing on the Akai family was released in Japanese theaters on February 11, 2021. It was originally screened for a limited time of three weeks, but thanks to its box office success, its theatrical run has been decided to be extended after March 5.

Meitantei Conan: Hiiro no Dangan / Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet will be released in 22 countries/regions in the world simultaneously on April 16, 2021, the same day as the release in Japan. This is the first time in the 25-year history of the anime franchise that a film will be released simultaneously around the world.
