“#Mobile Suit Gundam Online Game to End Service After Almost 10 Years”
It’s almost time to bid farewell to Mobile Suit Gundam Online. The game originally launched for Microsoft Windows in Japan back in December 2012, and Bandai Namco announced plans to end service on March 30, 2022, citing “recent changes in the environment surrounding this service and future development” as the key reason behind it.
Prior to that, in-game currency sales will come to an end on February 16 at 10:00pm Japan Time.
Mobile Suit Gundam Online lets players customize units and characters from the original Gundam anime, as well as OVAs and other series. After choosing to play as either Earth Federation of Zeon forces, the game offers up large-scale battles with up to 52 players on each side.
