Craig Robinson, the Knicks’ Vice President of Player Development and Minor League Operations, has accepted a new position as Executive Director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Robinson, the brother of former First Lady Michelle Obama, was hired by former Princeton teammate Steve Mills to join the Knicks three years ago and took over as general manager of the Westchester Knicks. Robinson’s contract is set to expire on Aug. 1 and he was not expected to remain with the franchise, following Mills’ firing as team president in February.

Assistant general manager Gerald Madkins and Harold Ellis, the Knicks’ Director of Player Personnel, are also expected to part with the team when their contracts lapse next month, as previously reported in The Post.

Robinson, 58, previously held a developmental role with the Bucks and spent eight years as a Division I coach, at Oregon State and Brown.

The Knicks hired Sean MacLean as part of the strategy team, a source told The Post. The Wharton School graduate will report to Brock Aller, the Vice President of Basketball & Strategic Planning.
