Megyn Kelly lashed out at the New York Times on Monday for “smearing me as a purveyor of misinformation” because she cast doubt on the San Francisco Police Department’s official narrative of the Paul Pelosi assault.

“First of all, f–k you, New York Times, for suggesting it was anything sinister or homophobic about what we said,” Kelly said during Monday’s episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” which is streamed daily on SiriusXM.

“We said the San Francisco PD has eggs on its face, so you can pound sand.”

Kelly took umbrage at being mentioned in a recent Times story that bore the headline “How Republicans Fed a Misinformation Loop About the Pelosi Attack.”

The story’s authors — Annie Karni and Stuart A. Thompson — chronicled the various statements made by Republican politicians as well as right-leaning media commentators about the attack on the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Post has sought comment from the Times, Karni and Thompson.

The article points out that Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO who recently acquired Twitter, tweeted out a link to a story that suggested that Paul Pelosi and his attacker were involved in a gay tryst. Musk later deleted the tweet.

The Times also noted that reports that Paul Pelosi’s attacker was in his underwear at the time of the assault were retracted after they were proven false.

A GOP congressman, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.), suggested that the alleged assailant, David DePape, was a male prostitute.

Kelly blasted the Times for lumping her in with Higgins and others who spread various claims about the case.

“The New York Times is claiming I am spreading misinformation,” Kelly said.

“What did I do?” she asked sarcastically.

“I ‘raised doubts that all facts were being disclosed’ on this attack. I am not kidding!”

Kelly added: “Hey, New York Times, we call that being a journalist. You should try it. It can work out really well for you. Unbelievable.”

She denied making false claims on her show, saying: “I’m not the only person being smeared as a misinformation purveyor for literally asking [for] facts.”

“At no point have I suggested a conspiracy theory in the Paul Pelosi case.”

She added: “I said the police appeared to have egg on their face and that there appeared to be more facts yet to be disclosed.”

Kelly noted that authorities investigating the case said police officers arrived and that the 82-year-old Pelosi answered the door and let them in before the assault took place.

“The guy hurt Paul Pelosi right in front of the cops, which jumped out at us as odd and this smells funny,” Kelly said.
