#Matt Berninger Shares New Song “One More Second”: Listen

Matt Berninger of the National has shared a new solo track. Watch the lyric video for “One More Second” below. Co-written with Matt Sheehy (touring bassist for Berninger’s side project EL VY), the new song will appear on Berninger’s forthcoming solo album Serpentine Prison, out October 16 via Book’s Records/Concord Records. It follows the previously released title track and the single “Distant Axis.”

The most recent album from the National, I Am Easy to Find, was released in 2019. Earlier this year, the band celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their album High Violet with a new 3xLP reissue.
