While Marvel Studios is one of the biggest cinematic studios in the world, its gaming journey hasn’t been any less impressive. Marvel’s Spiderman and Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles Morales were so amazing that fans have literally been begging for a sequel ever since. Unfortunately, Marvel’s Avengers wasn’t that great a game, yet it has been immensely popular among the fans.

Marvel’s Future Revolution was launched just a few days ago, and people seem to be enjoying it as well. Its upcoming game Guardians of the Galaxy is all set to release on October 26, 2021. But today we are going to talk about Marvel’s Midnight Suns which was being rumored for some time.

All About Marvel Midnight Suns

A Marvel XCOM game had been leaked earlier by the fans and there was a lot of hype around it. Now, Firaxis and 2K Games have confirmed it in the form of Midnight Suns at Gamescom 2021. A dynamic cinematic trailer for the game was also launched, so check it out below.

Midnight Suns would be releasing in March 2022 and would explore the dark and supernatural side of Marvel. The game would unite multiple heroes from Avengers, Runaways, and X-Men to take on the forces of darkness. Lilith, the mother of demons, will be the antagonist of the game and will unleash creatures like vampires.

Since demonic forces are involved, characters like Blade, Ghost Rider, and Nico Monreau will also be joining the roster. The trailer is quite well crafted with incredible action and cool graphics. If the game is anything like that, it can be huge and that is hyping fans a lot.

About Midnight Sons (Comic)

Midnight Sons is the comic series on which this game Midnight Suns is based on. Suns has been changed to Sons probably because of the legal title rights issues. In the comic Doctor Strange, the sorcerer supreme, played a major role. He assembled a team which consisted of the above-mentioned heroes as well as Morbius the Living Vampire.

In the comic too they batted against Lilith and her evil forces, making it a horror comic series. But one can note some significant changes in the game, major one being the absence of Doctor Strange. That aside, Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider replaces the OG Johnny Blaze’s Ghost Rider. Robbie Reyes can actually prove to be even better as he is the newer and darker interpretation of Ghost Rider.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns can prove to be a great addition to the Marvel gaming franchise. It seems to have a strong concept and supernatural elements which gamers seem to enjoy a lot. We’ll be back with more official details about the game when we hear them.
