The previously run MAPPA Showcase exhibition returns to Tokyo in September for a massively expanded exhibition that will showcase material from a majority of anime produced at MAPPA, up from the collection at the last exhibition which showed production materials from Attack on Titan, The God of High School, The Gymnastics Samurai, JUJUTSU KAISEN and Mr Love: Queen’s Choice.
The only two productions that won’t be featured at the event are Hajime no Ippo: Rising and Teekyu. Hajime no Ippo was co-produced with MADHOUSE in 2013, while Teekyu was the anime studio’s second work after Kids on the Slope. Also not featured are upcoming works Takt Op. Destiny, Alice and Therese’s Illusion Factory, and Chainsaw Man.
MAPPA’s 10th Anniversary Showcase exhibition will be held from September 25 to November 14 at the Tokyo Anime Center with advance tickets available now for 1,500 yen (US$13.63). Ticket holders will also receive two postcard feature artwork from the series’ featured at the event.
