#Man busted in slashing of two with boxcutter at NYC restaurant

An unhinged man burst into a Brooklyn restaurant early Wednesday and slashed two workers in the neck with a boxcutter, police said.

The 63-year-old attacker, who cops believe is homeless, barged into La Cabana Restaurant on Flatbush Avenue near Beverley Road in Flatbush around 3:30 a.m. and began squabbling with the employees, authorities said.

He then whipped out a boxcutter and slashed two employees in the neck, according to cops.

The employees, a 42-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, were initially listed in critical condition but are now considered stable, police said.

The woman was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and the man is being treated at Maimonides Medical Center.

The suspect is being held at the 70th Precinct station house, pending charges.
