Milan Records announced that it will release BELLE’s original soundtrack on vinyl and that pre-orders will open on May 13 on Milan Records’ online store. The anime film’s soundtrack was written by lead composer and arranger Taisei Iwasaki (Blood Blockade Battlefront), Ludvig Forssell, and Yuta Bandoh. 

The vinyl release will feature two discs and an assortment of soundtracks including:

Directed and written by Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, Wolf Children) and produced by Studio Chizu, BELLE is screened in North America on January 14, 2022 and distributed by GKIDS. The anime film premiered in Japan on July 16, 2021. 

The movie is described as: 

Suzu is a shy, everyday high school student living in a rural village. For years, she has only been a shadow of herself. But when she enters “U”, a massive virtual world, she escapes into her online persona as Belle, a gorgeous and globally-beloved singer. One day, her concert is interrupted by a monstrous creature chased by vigilantes. As their hunt escalates, Suzu embarks on an emotional and epic quest to uncover the identity of this mysterious “beast” and to discover her true self in a world where you can be anyone. (via GKIDS)
