#Magic the Gathering Gets Anime Trailer for Wilds of Eldraine Expansion

The Japanese Magic the Gathering YouTube channel has released an anime trailer for the new MTG expansion, Wilds of Eldraine, which features the song “Twin Fates” by Awich x Hiroyuki Sawano as well as the voices of Yui Ishikawa and Yuuichirou Umehara.

Ishikawa and Umehara voice returning characters and siblings Rowan and Will Kenrith, who have lost their Planeswalker’s spark following the Phyrexian Arc. The animation is produced by Qzil.la and S.o.K.

Wilds of Eldraine is the 97th expansion for the Magic the Gathering collectible card game. It arrived in Magic: The Gathering Arena on September 5 and will have its main release on September 8. The expansion’s premise is described as:

A Wicked Slumber creeps through the land of Eldraine, turning Magic’s beloved fairy tale world into something more . . . twisted.

Set out into the Wilds and tell your own unique story featuring classic fairy tale characters like you’ve never seen before.
