#”MACROSS 7 BASARA EXPLOSION 2022″ Concert to be Live-streamed Worldwide on January 28

“MACROSS 7 BASARA EXPLOSION 2022 from FIRE BOMBER Supported by SANKYO,” a special live concert starring Yoshiki Fukuyama, will be live-streamed across 15 areas worldwide on January 28, 2022. The live-streaming will be available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the US.

Fukuyama, also known as a members of the anisong super group JAM Project, played the singing voice of the protagonist Basara Nekki in the Macross 7 anime series. As its title suggests, the concert features all of the famous songs by Basara’s band FIRE BOMBERS in the anime, including the iconic OP theme “SEVENTH MOON” and insert song “MY SOUL FOR YOU.” Nobutoshi Canna, who played the character voice of Basara, also makes a guest appearance to share memories and perform duet with Fukuyama on the stage.

The tour’s first show was already performed at Zepp Yokohama in Kanagawa on January 9, and the second show is scheduled to be performed at Zepp Namba in Osaka on January 21 and 22. Then the last show to be held at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo January 28 will be live-streamed globally.
