The fourth part of the Girls und Panzer das Finale OVA series will begin screening in Japanese theaters in 2023, a new teaser trailer has revealed.

The anime also received two teaser visuals, one pitting Ooarai Girls Academy against Continuation High School and the other featuring Kuromorimine Girls Academy versus St. Gloriana Girls’ College.

Girls und Panzer das Finale is a planned six-OVA series that is a continuation of the Girls und Panzer anime series that began in 2012. Parts 1, 2, and 3 premiered in Japan in December 2017, June 2019, and March 2021 respectively. The series, which takes place in a world where a tank combat sport called Sensha-do is practiced, has also inspired a 2015 anime movie, manga, a light novel trilogy, and video games.

The staff of the first three Girls und Panzer das Finale entries include the TV series’ Tsutomu Mizushima as director, Reiko Yoshida as scriptwriter, Isao Sugimoto as character designer and chief animation director, Takaaki Suzuki as historical researcher and supervisor, Fumikane Shimada as original character designer, Takeshi Nogami as assistant original character designer, Keiichirou Yanagino as 3DCG director, and Shirou Hamaguchi as music composer. ACTUS produced the OVAs. The CGI was originally produced by Graphinica before becoming a co-production with STUDIO Katyusha in Part 2. Part 3 only has STUDIO Katyusha credited.
