#Luffy and Conan Share Combined Magazine Covers in Next Week’s Shonen Jump, Shonen Sunday

“Luffy and Conan Share Combined Magazine Covers in Next Week’s Shonen Jump, Shonen Sunday”

One Piece x Case Closed

It’s not often that two manga magazine covers line up perfectly, let alone two covers over two different manga magazine companies, but for next week’s issues of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, the two covers were designed as one with Luffy from One Piece and Conan from Case Closed together for the first time in mange history.

One Piece x Case Closed

The covers are celebrating the equally as historic interview between One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda and Case Closed creator Gosho Aoyama, who are coming together to discuss the ins and outs of being the most prolific manga creators of all time. The first half of the interview will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 25, while the second half will be published in Weekly Shonen Sunday on July 27.
