Lil Yachty and Justine Skye have been spotted hanging out in NYC and posting TikToks together throughout January, but Bossip took their friendship a step forward and wondered if the duo was in fact a couple with a story published on Monday (January 24).

The celebrity gossip website’s post must’ve made its way onto Yachty and the R&B singer’s radar, as the duo posted a video sharing a laugh at the story’s headline pointing to them being an item.

“When blogs be loud & wrong,” the TikTok video shutting down the rumors shared on Tuesday (January 25) is captioned.

Yachty and Skye were together in New York City over the weekend as DailyMail also ran a story breaking down the stylish outfits both artists were rocking while gallivanting through the Big Apple’s SoHo neighborhood on a frigid day in the Big Apple.

On the relationship front, Justine Skye broke up with Drake collaborator Giveon in 2021 after a short period of dating while Lil Yachty welcomed a baby girl in October with his girlfriend, according to TMZ. He was also linked to emerging R&B talent Mariah The Scientist in the past.

The 24-year-old Atlanta native closed out 2021 with the release of “Yae Energy,” which arrived alongside a Cole Bennett-directed video that was solely shot on an iPhone.
