Check out a brand-new trailer for Disney and Pixar’s “Lightyear,” an original feature film releasing June 17, 2022. The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.

Now, I’m can’t tell whether they’re basing this on the TV movie star within the Toy Story movies, or if this is based in the same universe where the toy is based on the actual spaceman that went to space! I doubt it’s the latter as they’ve never displayed such technological advancements in the Toy Story movies so it’s likely the former. Either way, it does look kinda cool so it’s worth checking out.
