#Latest Nintendo Direct Is Guided Tour Of Super Nintendo World Within Universal Studios Japan

Nintendo has posted yet another online Direct before the year closes out, but unlike the the string of Directs that have focused on indie games or major and minor releases from the company, this one focuses on the long-planned theme park attraction Super Nintendo World. The attraction will finally debut next year in Universal Studios Japan after being under construction and facing additional delays due to the global coronavirus pandemic.

This latest Direct is a guided tour of the theme park attraction featuring Shigeru Miyamoto as the tour guide, and in true Miyamoto fashion, marvels at the level of detail found in the attraction while also explaining key areas and even pointing out easter eggs for the more devoted Nintendo fans. The attraction also features the inclusion of physical Activities through a Nintendo-themed Power Up Band worn throughout the attraction for further immersion by hitting specially marked fixtures in the park with the watch like Mario to unlock bonuses via companion smartphone app and even use the watch with the Switch in the future, just like Amiibo.

This is the first of four planned Nintendo theme park attractions with additional Super Nintendo World attractions planned for the Universal Studios theme parks in Singapore, Hollywood, California and Orlando Florida, although those locations have yet to begin construction, much less feature an opening date.
