Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair, one of the largest manga and anime trade fair in western Japan, has revealed this year’s collaboration visuals combining popular series/characters and Kyoto’s famous places.

 

The theme of this year’s event is “The dispatched place of Kyoto’s Art and Culture.” Collaboration between “Kyoto,” a city representing Japanese traditions and cultural transmission, and new Japanese culture “manga, anime, and games,” which boast global popularity, is represented with popular works and characters.

“A Couple of Cuckoos” & Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art



 


 


“Senbon Zakura” (Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len) & Kyoto Minamiza theater



 


 


TV anime “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” & Toei Kyoto Studio Park



 


 


“Bocchi the Rock!” & Demachiza theater



 

 

In addition, original goods using these collaboration visuals will also be available.

 

  • Acrylic diorama: 1,500 yen
  • Wooden tag-style key holder: 1,000 yen
  • Cheki-style card: 500 yen
  • Yatsuhashi (cinnamon-seasoned rice flour cracknel) with special cards (8 pieces): 1,300 yen
  • Tin can with Konpeito (sugar candy): 1,200 yen
  • Boxed Senbei (rice cracker) 1,000 yen
  • Tea: 600 yen (tax included)

 



 

 

This year’s event is scheduled to be held in three locations (Miyako Messe/ROHM Theater Kyoto, Kyoto International Manga Museum, TOEI Kyoto Studio Park) on September 17 and 18.
