#Koki Uchiyama & Ayumu Murase Join Delicious in Dungeon Voice Cast
Voice actors Koki Uchiyama and Ayumu Murase are joining the voice cast of the ongoing Delicious in Dungeon TV anime series. Both have appeared in the anime’s 21st episode “Egg/The Golden Country,” with the anime first airing in Japan on January 4, 2024.
Uchiyama voices the Captain of the Canaries elves group Mithrun, while Murase voices the current lord of the Golden Country Yaad.
The anime’s second cour began broadcasting on March 28, 2024. Netflix is streaming the anime series worldwide, outside of Japan.
Yoshihiro Miyajima is directing the anime, with Hideyuki Satake (SSSS.Dynazenon Episode 5 and 10 director) as assistant director, Naoki Takeda (BNA: Brand New Animal chief animation director) as character designer, Kimiko Ueno (Eternal Boys) as series screenwriter, Yuuto Kaneko as monster designer, Mao Momiji as food designer, Inspired’s Sachiko Nishiguchi (Kemono Jihen) and Yuusuke Nishikimi (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress) as art directors, Hitoki Takeda (SSSS.Dynazenon) as color designer, Graphinica’s Katsunori Shiradou (SSSS.Dynazenon) as compositing director, and Yasunori Mitsuda (Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 co-composer) as music composer. TRIGGER is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Sayaka Senbongi as Marcille
- • Asuna Tomari as Chilchuck
- • Hiroshi Naka as Senshi
The anime series is based on the fantasy cooking manga by Ryoko Kui, which was serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine from February 15, 2014 to September 15, 2023. A total of 14 tankobon volumes have been released.
Yen Press releases the Delicious in Dungeon manga series in English, describing the synopsis as:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
